Big Lottery Fund (BIG) has set up the Young People’s Fund 2 Local Grants programme to put young people at the heart of local issues and services that affect their lives. It’s a chance for young people to lead on developing activities and services that they want in their local area. Up to £38million is available across England.

How much can I apply for?
Between £10,000 and £500,000, of which up to £50,000 is available to
develop land and buildings
Who can apply?
Voluntary & Community organisations can apply. Other organisations can work in partnership with the VCS group.
What ages are eligible?
Young people aged 10 – 18 years old, although we may fund projects working with people up to 25 years if they are finding the transition to adulthood difficult.
What do we need to achieve?
Involving young people from start to finish is essential. You will also need to help achieve the five Every Child Matters outcomes. Remember to make your outcomes SMART.
