Northmoor Community Association will work towards improving the quality of life for people living or working within the Northmoor area through the promotion of charitable purposes to relieve poverty, promote health, advance education and provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation. Our aims are: to establish, maintain and manage a community building. to promote and run training, vocational training, workshops, advice sessions, events and other activities in furtherance of our objectives. to assist local charitable activities through the provision of a small grants scheme for local charitable bodies. to undertake any other activities considered appropriate in furtherance of the above objectives. The Community Association is made up of many different people as well as the Board. We have paid staff who help run and manage the centre on a day to day basis as well as a team of hard working volunteers who help provide services in the Community Centre.

SCENE is a project from the local Community Network (MPACCN). It has a worker and funds to support people wanting to improve their community and environment. Can help with advice, support and funding to put on events and activities, training, start local projects, get local concerns heard.
